Around 2000, three Renaissance faire performers (from three different groups) got together to sing the variety of songs that they all loved in common. After what was supposed to be a one-time performance, the trio (Brian Leo, Jesse Linder, Gordon Lyons) were encouraged to continue performing. Specializing in three-part harmony, the three tenors incorporated Celtic, bluegrass, and folk, leading to a musical style that was Americana before the term was ever coined. After over four years, the three parted ways, but they did leave the legacy of this CD. Now, after being out of print for several years, a new generation can appreciate the unique three-part harmony and passion for the music that shows in every track.
